I’ve always had a passion for problem solving and mathematics, though it took me some time to discover how to apply that passion in a meaningful way. Growing up, I was inspired by the hard work and determination of my family. My grandparents picked cotton and worked manual labor jobs throughout their lives, always reminding me how important education is and encouraging me to pursue it relentlessly. My parents were the first in our family to move into the city and build careers in the petrochemical industry—earning enough to begin saving and planning for the future.
That foundation shaped the way I view my role as a financial advisor today. I feel fortunate to have found a career that allows me to combine my passion for numbers with a deeper purpose: helping families like mine pursue their financial goals with confidence. Many of my clients work in the same industries my family did, and I consider it a privilege to guide them through the planning process—from identifying their goals to building customized strategies and managing investments with long-term success in mind.
I worked in banking throughout college and graduated from the University of Houston in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in economics and mathematics. In 2023, I earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation to deepen my knowledge and better serve my clients through a full financial planning process that includes retirement, tax, legacy, and insurance strategies.
My wife, Hannah, and I live in the Mont Belvieu area with our son and daughter. When I’m not working, you can find us at the gym most days (thanks to my wife’s motivation) or spending time outdoors, often on the golf course.
